“Hot Tuna”: When I was younger, my friends and I had a spot we called Hot Tuna. It was an escape for all of us located between Redondo and Torrance Beach (what locals call Rat Beach). My friend Mackenzie once said, (“All these people saying things in my ear, things I don’t wanna hear”). That line captured what we felt at that time and why we looked for an escape. We just didn’t know that the true place of peace was in knowing Christ Jesus.
