When I was younger, my friends and I had a spot we called Hot Tuna. It was an escape for all of us located between redondo and Torrance Beach (what locals call Rat Beach). My friend Mackenzie (our leader) once said, (“All these people saying things in my ear, things I don’t wanna hear”). That line captured what we felt at that time and why we looked for an escape. We just didn’t know that the true place of peace at that time was in knowing Christ Jesus. No matter what we did, was only momentary bliss. We had no idea that true peace was in the unity of the material & immaterial in eternal bliss (that through peace with God in repentance of our sin and faith on Jesus as Lord and savior) we could experience that temporally than forever.
