MELTING ILLUSION
MELTING ILLUSION

MELTING ILLUSION
Out from an igloo...
and in to stay warm
to heat noses and to stay
cool from harm.
Before venture out to western coast-
stay for a moment to feel love once more…
…and out to the city
to sell pups and mourn.
For I leave the snow,
the one whom I know;
my two loves
I'm alone...
Onward
this venture I roam
through the torrid weather.
Hail is spite
the hateful form of white
My throne, but
farther along I travel.
The pain subsides
Into weak drizzle
-a feeling I know.
A feeling like I felt when mine
glazed eyes fell
on my love.
The one I know.
My home.
No single word or phrase to explain
,but “love” could express how these wet glorious percussive
rays
did fill me
with wonder.
My heart set to race.
Meanwhile
I run into a man set a pace
he overheard me…
a man on my travels next to me.
He said, “It's rain
and The Lord Jesus Christ
is who you are speaking of;
for He is love
and He is Lord over all.
Two arms we have
not a third.
No leg longer and
one shorter;
we are made perfect.
This world He made in His grandeur
for us to retort,
to look and to know His name.
From your sin turn and seek His face
so you may know His fame.”
“He spoke
and here you are.
We
are both experiencing
His
speech.
We , but fail to see
till The Word is sown
for if He wills then we
will know;
The rain the snow
The moon and gold is of Him
He owns
and He shares His love freely
for this world
to glow.”
Sail on dear sailor
and share what you know.
Let His love shine
through
to him
that does not
yet
know.
