Work Songs & Auditions

Hey y’all so, thank you any of you that prayed for me in regard to my audition at the college I’m attending for getting into a music program. It was super fun and if you’d like you can hear the audition later below! As far as what the professor said, he gave me a “soft” yes and invited me to class this comin’ Tuesday! Praise God! Apparently there are limited spots to fill so please pray I get one of ‘em.

In other news, I’ve just dropped my cover of, “Just Another Day” by Sam Cooke & The Soul Stirrers! It was ALOTTA fun to produce & LORD willin’ it’ll bless you:) The artwork was a group effort with my wife n’ I so hope you dig it! Speaking of this track, this single is off of my album,”Work Songs” (a collection of spiritual, folk, blues, jazz, standards and other songs I’m using to show that all great music comes from God, but The Church has largely disregarded this heritage because it is largely ignorant or unknowing about it in the first place sadly: “that’s the devils music” for short kinda stuff)-Anyway

Been thinkin’ I might be stretchin’ myself a bit thin-specially with school comin’ up so I might just end up focusing solely on “Work Songs” instead of doin’ “Rude” as well till I’m done gettin’ my degree n’ stuff, but idk, whudu y’all think?
