Hey y’all! Happy Blue Monday! So if I haven’t told you already, been workin’ on a project of spiritual, folk, hymn, blues n’ standards I’m calling Work Songs. This last tune been workin’ on is a cover of Sam Cooke & The Soul Stirrers ,” Just Another Day”. I think it’s a great opener for the album and I hope it stirs people up for the reality that they are working before The LORD (those for whome that is their given reality of course). Anyway, aim to share the rendition and cover art with you by next week. Still aim to put out my fully produced album “Rude” by the end of the year, but I really am starting to think I should focus more on “Work Songs”. What do you think? Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Other than that, by The Grace of God I’m goin’ back to school to get my music degree so I gots a tryout this week Thursday. Would be super dope if y’all said a prayer for me. Really wanna get that class-aim to sing,”Fly me to the Moon” (‘cos I can audition with a jazz tune apparently-cool!)
